OKLAHOMA HUNTING WITH SUPPRESSORS ON PUBLIC LAND BILL IN 2015
OKLAHOMA HUNTING WITH SUPPRESSORS ON PUBLIC LAND BILL IN 2015The NFAFA is very pleased to announce that at our request, Representative John Echols (R) of Oklahoma will be submitting a bill request for the 2015 legislative session to make hunting with suppressors legal on PUBLIC lands in Oklahoma. In 2012 NFAFA Executive Director Todd Rathner (at the time working under contract with another organization) worked alongside the NRA to pass a bill to allow hunting with suppressors in Oklahoma. This law was limited to private landowners and their guests. The current bill being requested by Mr. Echols will make hunting with suppressors on public lands legal as well.We were reminded of this issue by NFAFA friend Jeremy Mallette the other night, and were able to utilize our contacts in the Oklahoma Legislature to get this effort started. Thank you Jeremy! This is the NFAFA getting the job done for you!PLEASE SHARE THIS POST!
